What This Site Is

Pattaya Newbie is a personal guide written by Rob from his own experience. It reflects one person’s opinions and observations. It is general information only and is not legal, medical, financial, safety or travel advice. Get professional advice before you rely on anything here for a decision that matters.

Accuracy of Information and Prices

I do my best to keep the content current, and prices are date stamped where possible. Pattaya changes quickly. Prices, opening hours, venues, laws, visa rules and alcohol restrictions can shift without notice. Treat everything on the Site as a guide, not a guarantee, and check important details yourself before you travel or spend money.

Your Responsibility and Local Laws

You are responsible for your own decisions, conduct and safety while travelling. That includes obeying Thai law and the laws of your home country. Nothing on the Site encourages or excuses illegal activity. Where I describe how things work in practice, that is an observation and not an endorsement or legal opinion.
